SAN ANTONIO – Police are investigating a deadly shooting late Sunday night at a home in the city’s southeast side that left a 26-year-old man dead and two others injured. The incident, which investigators say stemmed from a domestic argument, occurred near Flying Hooves Road, close to the intersection of Loop 410 and South Foster Road.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, the shooting happened shortly before 9:30 p.m. A woman’s ex-boyfriend arrived at the residence, leading to an argument that escalated into a physical fight with another man inside the home.

During the altercation, at least one person opened fire. The gunfire struck three individuals. Aumarea Kutraveon Luckey Hudspeth, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene from gunshot wounds, as confirmed by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.

A second man was shot in the arm and transported to a local hospital. A third individual also suffered a gunshot wound, but their condition was not immediately released by authorities. Investigators recovered multiple firearms from inside the residence.

The suspected shooter fled the scene and remains at large. Police spent several hours interviewing multiple witnesses. As of Monday morning, no arrests have been made, and it is unclear what specific charges the suspect may face.

The death has sent shockwaves through the victim’s circle. Friends and family of Hudspeth are now mourning a young life lost to sudden violence, a grim reminder of the personal toll of gun violence in local communities.
